Mirror, Mirror, Mirrorball

I ate it hard, but it was worth it.

It's hard to see things like the big lighting setups overhead if you watch where you're going. You really have to make a choice. You can see what's ahead of you, or you can see what's above you. You can't see both.

So I wasn't actually as surprised as I probably looked when I hit the floor. Looking back, it was pretty unavoidable. Still, I had time to see the three spotlights pointed at the huge mirror ball in the middle of the rink, and the really cool way the filters rotate to change the color of the light sparkling all around.

Once I get out of high school I'm going to do lighting and stuff for big rock bands, see all their shows, make out with girls and stuff. I'm really good at stuff like that. I like to see how different places do their lights and stuff, so I can get pointers for myself for the future. So now I knew about mirror balls and how you need spotlights to make them work.

All it took was a super-hard hit to the skating rink floor. No big deal. Hurt like hell, though. I guess I felt pretty lame at first.

But I slid to a stop right under Anna Rose's skirt. She has really nice legs - and pink panties.

So all in all, it was totally worth it. Even after she kicked me with her skate and fell on top of me.

  1. That? Fun. Who knew that falling on your ass would be inspirational?
Ok, I'm sure Anna's undies helped. But still.
